Social Development reiterates commitment to strengthening SASSA services

Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her aid and commitment to strengthening South African Social Security Company (SASSA) expert services throughout an engagement with the company's senior administrators at a strategic setting up session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled in the 2024 matric exams.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% on the registered pupils from the instruction sector.
These learners accomplished a commendable pass rate of 86%.
